Giara® fittings are cast in sand moulds, using traditional methods that go back to 5000 BC. Each piece is then finished entirely by hand.
The authentic appearance of Giara® is also down to the use of top-quality metals, such as britannium and bronze.
These alloys have a rich history; bronze was already being used in the Bronze Age while britannium metal was used extensively during the Middle Ages.
Both britannium and bronze are naturally corrosion-resistant and do not require a layer of lacquer. Over time and with use, the item will develop a beautiful, natural patina.
